My Skilled Migrant Category Resident Visa Application was lodged in 2018 on the basis of my employment as the Retail Store Manager. In January 2019 Immigration New Zealand sent me a Potentially Prejudicial Letter raising concerns about whether I performed the duties and responsibilities of my role (INZ believed that I did not meet the applicable immigration criteria). I believe this was the case with many others with retail & hospitality manager and supervisor occupations as it is often difficult to prove the necessary scope of managerial authority.
I chose Taymuraz because my university manager recommended Tai as a highly professional and determined immigration advisor (at the time), now - lawyer.
Tai immediately applied for an extension of time and went full hands on to assess the case, promptly coming up with an action plan and communicating with me at every stage. He developed a strategy to overcome the INZ's concerns based on the unique circumstances of the branch I worked in at the time. I do recommend Taymuraz - 1000%. I would consider my case was complicated as needed to match my education and job occupation with Essential skills work visa requirements. Long story short, I have received my visa without any questions and issues. I have talked to other immigration advisers but they only see how to earn money and not to succeed in my case, some of them literally thought there was no way for me to get a work visa.

Thank you for your work on my Permanent Resident Visa. The application itself was simple, or so I thought until INZ sent me a PPI letter advising me that I missed the required stay period in NZ by 1(!) - one day! This was catastrophic indeed as I thought I planned it out conservatively (time spent in Nz and overseas). Alas INZ was correct. Taymuraz has come up with an idea to see if NZ IRD service would be willing to issue a confirmation that I was in fact a NZ tax resident for the required period. He drafted the cover letter with arguments as to why I should be recognized as a NZ tax resident, and I contacted IRD and couple of days later I received a confirmation and approval from them that I was indeed a tax resident. This was enought to take my case over the line and I am now a PRV visa holder! Thank you Taymuraz!

Like many other “newcomers,” we had to hack our way through New Zealand’s visa jungle. At different stages of our immigration journey, we sought help from various immigration advisers—cheap and expensive, English- and Russian-speaking. They all helped to some extent, of course, but the feeling was always that we were doing most of the work ourselves, while they were just “ticking boxes” on paperwork and pointing to documents we needed to reference in the application.

Until we needed help with one particularly tricky visa issue. After searching for information in a group and being inspired by numerous reviews (thank you, kind people!), I contacted Taymuraz Zaseev.
